1. Your agreement
By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service. App-specific offers and purchase terms shown before a transaction also apply to that transaction. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age in your region and follow each title's age rating. If you are below the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must authorize your use where required.
If an account feature is offered, provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or transfer an account in violation of these terms.
3. Content and availability
HailShort provides a select, finite catalog of licensed short dramas for personal entertainment. Available titles depend on regional distribution rights and license periods; we do not promise a fixed catalog size or update schedule. The app has not yet launched. Website titles and artwork are illustrative, not a list of licensed or available works.
Language options, features and titles may vary by region, device and license. Membership and ad-based unlocking do not transfer ownership or guarantee permanent access to a title. Internet access and your provider's charges may apply. Catalog changes remain subject to applicable notice, refund and consumer-protection obligations.
4. Unlocking episodes with ads
Non-members can watch ads to unlock the episodes indicated in the app. Before you start, the app will show the applicable completion requirements, the episodes included and any access duration. The stated requirements must be completed and confirmed for the corresponding unlock to be granted; no universal ad count or permanent unlock is promised.
Ad availability can vary by region and advertising supply. If a completed ad does not unlock the indicated episode, contact [email protected] with the title and approximate time, without sending sensitive payment details. Do not manipulate ad-completion or reward records.
5. Membership benefits and limits
While your membership is active, you can watch the licensed content available in the app without ads and without watching ads to unlock episodes. Membership also provides access to higher playback quality.
Available quality depends on the source video, supported device and network conditions. Not every title has the same quality options and no particular resolution is guaranteed. Membership remains within the current catalog, territory and licensing period; it does not expand distribution rights or confer permanent ownership of content.
Benefits begin after your purchase is confirmed and membership is activated, and apply for the period shown in your plan. If payment has succeeded but benefits are not recognized, contact [email protected] so we can verify the purchase and help restore the correct access.
When membership expires, ad-free and higher-quality benefits end; subsequent viewing follows the ad-unlock rules shown in the app. Canceling renewal generally preserves benefits until the paid period ends, subject to the payment provider's terms and any lawful refund or revocation. Previously unlocked access follows the scope and duration disclosed for that unlock.
6. Membership payments, renewal and refunds
The membership price, currency, duration, benefits and whether the plan renews automatically will be clearly shown before purchase. Only plans explicitly sold as recurring subscriptions renew automatically, on the terms shown at checkout. This website does not sell memberships or collect payments.
Manage or cancel an Apple or Google subscription in the corresponding store account before the displayed renewal date. Deleting the app or your HailShort account does not cancel it. For another payment channel, use its disclosed cancellation process or contact [email protected].
Store transactions and refund requests follow the applicable provider's process and mandatory law. Subscription cancellation and a refund request are separate actions. We do not exclude statutory refund or withdrawal rights. Check your receipt and account settings for the actual period, renewal status and cancellation result.
7. Intellectual property
The service, software, branding and content are owned by HailShort or their respective rights holders. We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access content through the authorized service, subject to these terms and applicable purchase conditions.
Do not copy, redistribute, publicly screen, sell or commercially exploit content without permission, except as allowed by law. Contact [email protected] with sufficiently detailed ownership and infringement information to report a rights concern.
8. Acceptable use
Do not bypass access controls or territorial restrictions, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, scrape content at scale, commit payment fraud, misuse another person's information or use the service unlawfully. Reverse engineering is restricted except where permitted by mandatory law.
If you send feedback or support materials, provide only material you may lawfully share. We may use it to respond to your request and improve the service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
9. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through your payment provider.
We may restrict or suspend access for a material breach, fraud, legal requirements or an urgent security issue. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide reasons, notice and an opportunity to appeal through support. Statutory refund rights and obligations concerning existing paid access remain applicable.
10. Service standards and responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or error-free playback. Except for express commitments and mandatory legal guarantees, the service is provided as available. Contact support if it does not work as described.
Any exclusion or limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent lawful. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded. We do not impose a fixed monetary liability cap in these terms.
11. Updates and applicable law
We may revise these terms as the service evolves. The latest date is shown above. We will provide notice of material changes when required; changes will not remove accrued rights or apply retroactively where prohibited. If a change requires your consent, we will seek it.
Applicable law determines your rights and the competent courts. These terms do not require arbitration, waive class-action rights or displace mandatory protections in your country of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
